TEPCO has based its success on—hiring and maintaining quality people and
being innovative in the marketplace. Our current staff is built on a strong base
of experience and knowledge of the Glazing Industry. We are proud to present a sampling
of our staff:
- Fred Keen, President – over 40 years in the Glazing Industry. Founder of
TEPCO and developer of the proprietary motor operated vertical-lift skybox window
system. A leader in the industry whose belief in expanding the quality and knowledge
of the industry is reflected in his co-founding and continued support of programs
such as the CEF (Construction Education Foundation) program, and continued support
of Texas Glass Association, Glass Association of North America, and ABC. He has
managed and overseen numerous multistory installations and high rise renovations.
- William C. Keen, P.E., C.O.O. and Executive Vice President – a Registered
Professional Engineer with 35 years in the industry. He has had key responsibilities
for major curtainwall projects around the world, including the design and project
planning review for the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the world’s tallest
curtainwall installation at the time of its construction; and U.S. Operations Project
Management responsibilities for the ‘Little Britain’ complex in London, England,
a $58 million dollar (U.S.) cladding contract. He was Vice President of the Architectural
Products Division and a Board Member of AAMA (American Architectural Manufacturers
Association). He was on the Engineering Advisory Panel for the Aluminum Association’s
“Aluminum Design Manual”. He also co-authored the 1986 FGMA “Glazing Manual” and
the 1997 GANA “Glazing Manual”, our industry’s "bible".
- Charlie Condit, Vice President, Operations – 37 years in the cladding and
Glazing Industry involved with high-rise, mid-rise and low-rise projects in the
Midwest and Southern United States. Before joining TEPCO, Charlie was Vice President
of Construction at Thomas Glass Company for 11 years. Prior to that he was General
Partner of Golden Bear Glass, LLC for 5 years. In his 20 earlier years after graduating
from Ashland College and completing his service in the U.S. Coast Guard he has held
multiple rolls in the industry including technical salesman, fabrication division
manager, Vice President, and President of Condit Construction Products. Furthermore,
Charlie has been a committee member on Glass Association of North America task groups
which prepared the GANA Project Manager’s Manual. He has also been a presenter at
6 GANA Project Management Educational Seminars.
- Gary Jean CSI, CDT- Vice President, Window Systems – 30 years in the Glazing
Industry. Gary spent over a decade with Butler Manufacturing’s Vistawall Division
in the United States, in marketing and management. He was recognized as Vistawall’s
top producing Service Center Manager during his tenure and one of Vistawall’s top
Sales Representatives with several production awards to reflect his commitment and
dedication to his customers. Gary is a member of CSI (The Construction Specification
Institute) as a CDT (Construction Document Technologist) with over a decade of experience
aiding the Architectural community with Aluminum applications and specifications.
His ‘can do’ attitude reflects TEPCO’s commitment to the industry and its customers.
- Doug LaNasa, MBA – Project Executive – 24 years of construction experience
encompassing positions in sales, marketing and project management. He has spent
the last 15 years in the Glass and Glazing Industry with Senior Level management
responsibilities.
- Rick Ransopher – Field Operations Superintendent – 27 years of industry experience
in the supervision and installation of multiple aspects of glass and glazing systems
including projects such as the Texas Motor Speedway, the Ballpark at Arlington and
numerous other high, medium and lo-rise buildings throughout Texas and Arkansas.
- Vernon Clay – Manager of Quality Control – 45 years in the installation of
glazing systems with over two decades experience as a Glazing Superintendent, Vernon
has been an instructor for the CEF (Construction Education Foundation) Glazier Apprentice
program in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area for 9 years. Vernon's implementation of training
programs and regular on-site inspections has reduced TEPCO's number of lost time
accidents and project "come backs".
- Kirk Ray – Safety Director – 27 years experience in installation with 10
years as a foreman. For the past 2 years his role has been Tool & Equipment Manager
and Asst. Safety Director of TEPCO. Administers TEPCO’s drug testing program. Administered
a training program in 2009 to get TEPCO Employees: Certified 100% in MSDS, 100%
in Fall Protection, 90% OSHA 10, over 50% OSHA 30, over 60% CPR/First Aid/BBP, and
approximately 70% of all field erectors certified on scissors and aerial boom lifts.
Kirk is also a certified trainer for Fork Lifts.
- Harold C. Keen – Director, Sr. Estimator and Consultant – Over 50 years in
the Glazing Industry, Harold has participated in the design, installation, and/or
management of over 70 high rise buildings throughout the United States.
- Jason T. Merritt CSI, CDT – Chief Estimator – 22 years in the Glass and Glazing
Industry. Jason managed the Oklahoma and Arkansas territories at U.S. Aluminum for
5 years. He spent 5 years as an estimator/project manager for Advantage Glass, Inc.,
in Tulsa, OK then returned to Dallas as the local sales representative for YKK AP.
Jason has served has a Chairman of the Young Constructors Forum of AGC, as President
of the Texas Glass Association, North Texas Division and sits on the Texas Glass
Association Statewide Board of Directors.
- Tonda Kirby – Sr. Project Manager – 33 year veteran in running major glass
and glazing projects throughout the Midwest and West Coast. She has managed all
aspects of projects from storefronts to mid-rise through 42 story custom curtain
wall buildings. One of Tonda’s achievements includes successful management of the
42 million dollar curtain wall MGM Grand Hotel & Casino project in Las Vegas.
- Randy Clark – Sr. Project Manager – 44 years experience in the Glass and
Glazing Industry from installation to sales and estimating to project management
of which 37 of those years have been in management positions. He has managed numerous
small, medium and large projects throughout Texas.
- Tami Munson, CSI, CDT, AGS – Project Manager – 12 years experience in the
Glass and Glazing Industry upon completion of studying Construction Management at
Purdue University. Tami is an Accredited Glazing Specialist and certified Construction
Documents Technologist. She is active in CSI, TEXO and NAWIC, and is currently working
on her LEED accreditation.
- Helen Wells, CPA – Controller – Honors Graduate of UTD. Licensed CPA since
1993. Helen has specialized in commercial construction for the past 13 years.
TEPCO operates and is headquartered in its current 28,000 sq. ft. office and
manufacturing facility in Dallas, Texas. TEPCO maintains a staff of experienced
office, manufacturing and field personnel to provide turnkey installation of curtainwall,
windows, glass and glazing, and our proprietary window systems. TEPCO also takes
pride in being one of the top innovative glazing firms in today’s market.
